Boy name is completely settled, but girl names we can't decide. DH loves the name Eleanor and I do too, but I really love Margaret too. I want a girl named Margaret so I can call her Maggie Sue  Don't know why, I just........do. The middle name will be Carolyn with whatever first name we decide. I also LOVE Aveline. But DH says it sounds "off." Thoughts? Oh and there is also Speshul, I think it's nice enough, eh? Any other suggestions for names?

Phew! I was wondering why you'd go from nice classic names to Special spelled wrong. :P

Margaret is sweet! You could also call her "Peggy" for short (which always reminds me of my grandma. Or Mad Men). :)

I thought we were settled on Eleanor but Margaret has me. Almost as much as Agnes, but DH detests that one :( AH! Good thing there's time to decide, eh? lol

Aveline is really pretty, but Margaret is a classic with many more nickname options. I also like Eleanor. How about Eleanor Margaret? Or Margaret Eleanor? And if you still want to use Aveline, how about Aveline Margaret?

I love Olive too! DH also really loves it along with Oliver, but boy name is 100% settled.

Olive is a favorite of mine. I would have used it in a heartbeat if I could have.

I had the same debate with my DH, I wanted a Maggie Mae, but I wanted Magdalena. Go with Margaret, Maggie is so cute.
