I wrote on here a while back about trying to figure out if I should go for a VBAC or just have another C-section. I finally decided on having another C-section but am still on edge, I think I worry too much about things I guess my point is, is there anyone else who have had a C-section before that is choosing to have one again and how do you feel about it?

I'm having my 2nd csection in 16 days. I am of course nervous but I'm sure no more nervous than I would be if I was having a vaginal delivery.

From what I hear the 2nd time tends to a little smoother in the recovery. Obviously not true for everyone but hoping it will be for me lol

I've had three C-sections, and I was freaking out up to the day I had them. If that's what you think is best just have trust in your doctors and you will be fine.

I'm in the same boat... I've been weighing out the pros and cons and I've personally decided another Cesarean is best for me as well.

What's helped me personally (with my thoughts, knowing and trusting in my body and from the information I've come across) a Cesarean is my best option because I would like to have at least some form of control of my birthing experience. Knowing my body, my family history and how my last birthing experience went, I didn't dialate or go into actual labor and although I don't know yet how long they will allow my trial of labor, it's best for me to have a planned day and know MY OB who know's my cesarean history and has treated my entire pregnancy will be my safest option to sucessfully give me a healthy cesarean delivery. No stress on the baby, no worries about when i'll go into labor and if I will be capable of delivering her within the trial time I'm "allowed." Some women are head strong on what they want, but again, this is why I've decided to go with a cesarean. Good luck :)

I've had three c sections going on my fourth in October. In my case, I don't really have a choice bc my drs don't believe in risking VBAC complications so they just refuse to do it period. But either way, I don't mind really because I'm terrified of natural birth. But I'll be honest...I'm terrified of having another csection too bc of my last experience. It was horrific bc of the spinal only. It caused me all kinds of nasty issues and I almost died due to neglect of the anesthesiologist. I'll be at a different hospital this time with the anesthesiologist that performed my first two and I feel a little better knowing he will take good care of me. But I'll be honest....I'm thinking about asking them to knock me out completely. Lol
