4yo peeing everywhere!! MommaOfTwoLovies 2 kids; Massachusetts 7228 posts

I have had it! I have been toilet training for 2 years now. He wets his pants 3-4 times a day. He went through a thing where he'd wipe poop on my walls if he got it on his hand while wiping. He wears pull-ups to bed and wakes up with a really wt pull-up. Yesterday he ran past the bathroom and to his bedroom to change his clothes because he was dribbling in his pants and I went in there to find his chair wet with pee. Today I was cleaning the bathroom and I pick up the wipe container and pee was dripping from the bottom. Yes, he peed in the wipe container. I have had it, I do not know what to do!!!!! He will be sitting watching tv or playing on the iPad and he will just piss on my furniture. He is fully poop toilet trained. I feel bad for yelling when he does these things but I just don't know how else to express to him the importance of going to the toilet to pee. This morning when I found the pee in the wipe container, I told him how angry I was, that he's ruining my furniture, that I work so hard to keep this house in order, and I took away his iPad for the morning.

Help, someone, I am desperate!!

Why is he still wearing a pull up? I would go to only underwear, it might be confusing him. Is he getting too much screen time? He might just be too distracted all day to realize when his body needs to go.

He does not wear one during the day only at night and he wakes up with a really wet pull-up.

I think you may have made a mistake by using 2 years to potty train, if he wasnt ready you should have held off. Not giving you grief, just saying.

I would lose the pull ups. Wake him 3 times a night and take him to the potty.

Get rewards going, even if you've done it and feel it didnt work, try a new approach.

I know its hard, we've all been there, but being frustrated with him is NOT going to help.

You need to make him and the potty your ONLY priority for the next week. If it doesnt work, take him to the doctor to rule out any internal problems with his bladder.
