My 1 year old is obsessed with the b**bs. If I'm holding him, he's CONSTANTLY demanding, like ripping at my shirt, for b**b. I'm more than happy to let him nurse, I mean I have no intention of making him stop. I'm 32 weeks pregnant and it seems like the further I get into it the more he wants them. I always hear that as you got further along most kids stop wanting them. But he seems to be opposite. Anyone experience this? How long did it last? I feel like I'm stuck on the couch with my b**bs out all day lol

No idea but I'm jealous you'll be able to tandem nurse I always wanted to.

I just weaned my son in August so like a couple months before I got pregnant. And now I'm glad I did. My nipple still hurt so bad that some shirts hurt... dang girl hormones are killing me. Lol.

I dunno, is that how it's "supposed" to work? I still have milk, and leak. I got colostrum really early with him so I don't know that I'll actually dry up. Most everyone tried to tell me I'd never keep my milk and would dry up by 12 weeks. Hah, guess they were wrong.

It should turn back to colostrum soon I think. It's awesome you're still a milk machine

Everyone tried to force me to wean when I found out I was pregnant when he was 6 months. I was so mad. At this point I'd feel guilty even if he self weans :?

I have been (colostrum of course) since I was 16 weeks pregnant with him. I was leaking so much at 38 weeks I was able to store 5oz of colostrum in the span of like 2 days -.-

My girl has been nursing through this pregnancy. She will be 28 months on the 4th and I am due on the 7th. My milk almost completely dried up around 20 weeks but she still asked for them and just dry nursed and pacified herself. I'm now producing something and she is happy about that. Lol
She never completely stopped nursing this pregnancy, she does nurse far less than she did when I got pregnant though. When I got pregnant she was about 19 months and still nursing every few hours during the day, now it's only at wake ups and to fall asleep. I'm interested and anxious to see how tandem nursing is going to go.

My son was two and half. So I didn't feel guilty. If he was as young as yours I'd be tandem nursing as well.

He can go with just a few times in the morning if we're busy all day. Then if that's the case he wakes up at night for it. But if we're home and he's playing, it's seriously every 5 minutes lol

Ah yeah, big difference. I just hope he sticks with it because I feel like I'd be "cheating" him.

I is 17 mo. She goes most of the day without it. But if she notices them or is sick/tired she goes at it. Try to interact with LO and distract him from them if you want them to have a breather lol
