Quoting Tiffany Knickerbocker:" I was told by my ex sister in law that I was a horrible mother because I would not stay with my oldest ... [snip!] ... a shotgun on her because she truly wanted what was best for her children and she was so thankful to have a mother like that."
Wow. That wasn't the best decision for her kids.
She sounds like a b***h, 100%.
Lol! OP I'd hug you if I could. That response to her was probably the most amazing thing ever.
My ex's Mom was cray cray as well. She did not like me in the least, none of his family did. He was a little "too close" with his mother though, in a very creepy way. Ugh.
She was CONVINCED I was a witch (because I had black hair and named my dog Serena, which is apparently the name of a witch on some tv show or something) and swore to everyone who would listen that I had cast a spell on her son to make him love me.
Quoting Sailor Moon:" Lol! OP I'd hug you if I could. That response to her was probably the most amazing thing ever. My ... [snip!] ... on some tv show or something) and swore to everyone who would listen that I had cast a spell on her son to make him love me."
Oh my. :o
I'm sure you snipped his hair and bought a red candle, to burn and chant your crazy spells over him.
That's seriously nuts.
Quoting The ℰffin' D!
Quoting Sailor Moon:" Well what else could I have done? Lol. One time he randomly asked me to put high lights in his ... [snip!] ... his hair. I could hear her on the phone saying "You didn't let that witch dye it black did you? No son of mine will be a goth.""
She really was tripping out about the whole witch thing, and took it to another level. What a weirdo. lol
She sounds just as crazy as she pegged you to be.
My ex-MIL wasn't that sort of crazy, but she WAS crazy, lol.
Her and my ex-FIL were extremely religious. But the worst part was how nasty she was. She had some sort of problem that caused her to have to wear adult diapers- she would "forget" to wear them every time she went somewhere with my ex and I. She would then shit herself in WalMart and buy new clothes. She did this on at least 3 separate occasions.
She would piss her bed and not change the sheets for a few days. She would "forget" to put down the hospital pad that she had. If she had pissed in some of her clothes, she'd just leave them on the floor. I cleaned out that bedroom when they moved out- I had to use a shovel to get all the trash and nasty moldy clothes out. Literally 15 trash bags where needed to get rid of all of it.
On two separate occasions, I cleaned out the laundry room. Both times required a shovel, and unidentifiable things had to be scraped from the floor.
She would leave raw chicken in the refrigerator until it started to smell, and then boil it to death with the nastiest canned vegetables imaginable. To this day, I can't look at a can of carrots without feeling sick.
She made a "no-smoking" rule in the house, but I found her smoking on a few different occasions. She always made the biggest deal about her asthma, and went as far as to fuss at me for sweeping the floor because it stirred up dust, but she could sit in her bedroom and puff away. How convenient.
She had medications for her various mental problems, but just wouldn't take them. She wasn't in danger of running out or anything, she had Medicaid to cover it, she just didn't feel like it.
Ex-FIL told me that anything that didn't "glorify god" was a sin. It was difficult to restrain myself from asking him if he prayed while he took a shit, but I'm horrible, so... When I stayed there (felt like I had no choice), their two younger boys had free rein, but IIII couldn't play a freakin' video game without someone bitching- My ex said that I had to respect their house and told me to turn it off.
Yeah, this is the world that my daughter and I escaped. Sorry it's so long, I got on a roll apparently.
