If he's breastfeeding, and YOU aren't eating...... that isnt enough to give him the nutrients he needs.

I've been eating whatever we have, and we are getting groceries today. My milk supply has stayed efficient and my 22lbs son is fine.

You can't really be mad that he bought a computer, you bought clothes for yourself as well...

I think it's more of of being pissed at the situation you've been put in from unexpected events.
It's his tax return he worked for it, and why does he have to sell his laptop what about returning the clothes you bought as well.

That seems fair...

"my husband has a brand new computer. Jesus Christ I hate going hungry while he blows all his money on fucking bullshit."

..How can this be a 'misunderstanding', you were clearly really pissed to start with, OP.. it's weird to claim otherwise now.

More importantly, please don't think that just because you are breastfeeding your child, that the milk you are producing is nutritious while you are leaving on canned vegetables.. especially if this has been going on for 6 weeks. How much your child weighs is irrelevant in this case, and a poor excuse/defense.

Anyway, since the computer is practically unused, or as you claim it is.. I'm sure there's a return policy on it. Return it.

Quoting Jorja Blue:" she is from canada? do they have foods stamps there?"

Nope no food stamps, we have food banks but they only supply enough for two days.

Sounds like you guys have really poor money skills. Don't you think you should have saved money for an emergency instead of blowing it all....

why not sell or pawn the computer instead of borrowing money from someone else so they have to go without? and you not eating or living off canned vegetables means your baby isn't getting the nutrients that it needs to live off of, just because there is milk coming out doesn't mean anything.

This is the last time I put my bullshit on this website. Jesus Christ. We haven't bought groceries in 6 weeks but just started getting really low a few days ago. But we have groceries again so everyone can calm their titties. My milk supply was fine in the two days that I had veggies and even if it wasn't efficient enough I have formula in my pantry just in case. This thread was more of me just whining more than anything, soooo I got our shit figured out and everyone can go about their business! Thanks folks!

You wouldn't have become so upset and defensive, had you really believed there was no cause for alarm.

Yeah.. real mature - 'it's okay if my milk dries out while I starve, I have formula!' *sigh*. Nothing wrong with formula feeding, but some FF feeding mothers will confirm, that sometimes it's a whole other process to find the right formula due to numerous allergic reactions or inconsistencies with the baby's system .. but as long as you had 'some' formula in the pantry, good for you.

The only person who was truly worked up about all this, is you.. because you know how shitty your situation is/was - I'm just sorry you don't believe that you are worthy of a better life, more so, that you don't believe your child is.

I hope you get a job, and become more independent, and able of purchasing your own food in the future. Then you won't be smack in the middle of such 'misunderstandings'
