Sounds like you guys have really poor money skills. Don't you think you should have saved money for an emergency instead of blowing it all....

why not sell or pawn the computer instead of borrowing money from someone else so they have to go without? and you not eating or living off canned vegetables means your baby isn't getting the nutrients that it needs to live off of, just because there is milk coming out doesn't mean anything.

This is the last time I put my bullshit on this website. Jesus Christ. We haven't bought groceries in 6 weeks but just started getting really low a few days ago. But we have groceries again so everyone can calm their titties. My milk supply was fine in the two days that I had veggies and even if it wasn't efficient enough I have formula in my pantry just in case. This thread was more of me just whining more than anything, soooo I got our shit figured out and everyone can go about their business! Thanks folks!

You wouldn't have become so upset and defensive, had you really believed there was no cause for alarm.

Yeah.. real mature - 'it's okay if my milk dries out while I starve, I have formula!' *sigh*. Nothing wrong with formula feeding, but some FF feeding mothers will confirm, that sometimes it's a whole other process to find the right formula due to numerous allergic reactions or inconsistencies with the baby's system .. but as long as you had 'some' formula in the pantry, good for you.

The only person who was truly worked up about all this, is you.. because you know how shitty your situation is/was - I'm just sorry you don't believe that you are worthy of a better life, more so, that you don't believe your child is.

I hope you get a job, and become more independent, and able of purchasing your own food in the future. Then you won't be smack in the middle of such 'misunderstandings'

I think you're just angry because you both blew all your money and now don't have a pot to piss in. I'd be pretty angry if I spent all money and had to ask my parents to feed my family too. Time to grow up.

Thank you everyone for your advice and lovely words. We fucked up. Everything is sorted out now and we are doing well! Thanks for the concern this thread is over unless you still feel like chatting amongst yourselves about it. I am moving on :)

We saved some for groceries but his truck broke down and needed repairs to get to work. But yes it was a stupid, stupid mistake.

You should have stated that in your OP.. Then nobody would have said anything.

Yeah that would have been a different story. That's not your DH's fault for buying a computer and having an unexpected expense come up. You made it sound like he was completely irresponsible. Glad everything worked out though.

Yeah I realized I didn't explain well enough in the opening post. Plus I kinda felt like blaming my dh because I was mad( ill admit it) Even though it wasn't his fault, just a shitty situation. I came back onto BG and everyone was flipping their shit! Sorry ppl next time I will be more descriptive in my opening posts so there is no confusion.

It's okay! I'm just glad everything is working out. I think people were more concerned (even though it may be hard to tell over the internet). No one wants to see a family struggling. I understand now that it was a temporary thing you guys hadn't planned on, so it's understandable. I know it's easier to blame others. I do that a lot. lol.

how can you produce enough healthy milk with no food? i'd switch to formula just to be sure.
