Probably a somewhat stupid question, but how do you know if your kid is allergic to the cat or just allergies outside?

we have been inside all day and his eye is all puffy and itchy and nose runny. last week it was his other eye. Pollen is really bad here. We have had the cat for about a month and a half ?

If he was allergic to the cat it would have started the second the cat came in contact with him.

I would talk to his dr, they can give him some medication. Also the best thing is hot washclothes. Just lay him down with one for about five minuets and it will help a lot.

Zyrtec, Claritin or Benedryl (makes them tired though). I am originally from the DMV and the pollen is the worst there! This is what our doctor reccomended for me and the kids. Be sure to never miss a day because it will be that way all Spring, Summer and early Fall.
