What is it?
I'm trying to make this soup recipe-

And I can't figure out what it means by 'half & half' can anyone help?

Ohhh that makes sense. So just half a pint regular milk and half a pint cream, I'm assuming I need to mix them together before adding to the recipe?

I don't think you'd need to mix them. It's just sold as coffee creamer here.

...you can buy half & half at the store, already mixed.

I couldn't figure it out from google haha, all I could get was half fat milk? I didn't think it'd be that because Americans nearly always use 2% from what I've seen

Yeah you could do that. In the states it's sold as one item, so you may be able to find it there, too.

I would just buy heavy cream and mix it with milk!

See we don't have anything called 'heavy cream' either. We just have whipping cream & regular cream... I'm assuming its the regular cuz whipping cream is sweet I think haha

As long as it is not flavored, it is the same.
edit: I'm going to bet that your whipping cream is the same as our whipped cream, which is sweet.
