My oldest daughter lives with her dad during the school year and lives with me over the summers. She just recently started seeing a new guy and she wants him to come up over the summer, and she is begging me to let him stay here so he wouldn't have to pay for a hotel room. I am very torn, there is a part of me that thinks I can trust her not to do anything, but there is that chance that they could, and both DH and I sleep like the dead. She is still a virgin, and she really is a good kid, but I know hormones are raging, so if you were me, what would you do? Would you let him stay?

Oh and my daughter is 15, boyfriend is 16

I would, even if they were having sex.

I wouldn't do it. I know they're going to find a way if they really want, but I'd never feel comfortable making it that easy.

That's a negative! No way in Hell would Peyton have a boy spend the night in my house with her. It only takes one heat of the moment.

My Mom let my boyfriends stay the night when I was a teen... as long as she is good and can follow the rules I see no problem.

f**k no. She's a baby. And her boyfriends parents are idiots for even letting him stay near you in a hotel all summer.

Yeah this is my problem, she thinks me saying no is me saying I don't trust her

it wouldn't be for the whole summer, it would only be for a couple nights, and he doesn't drive so the only way he is getting around is by me or her stepdad. If he drove, it would be a f**k no, he isn't even coming up.

Tell her you're not comfortable having a boy you don't know in your home?

I honestly think him having a HOTEL ROOM where they can be alone, uniterupted is way worse

Put her on birth control, buy some condoms, and then go for it. At least that is what I would do. The risks of him coming up to visit and her sneaking out in the middle of the night or whatever are a high possibility. At least if they are both there you can keep a decent eye on them most of the time. Have them sleep separately, of course. I would much rather know they were in a safe environment than have the risk of them getting caught in some parking lot etc.

yeah, this has convinced me not to do it.

We just have a close relationship, and I hate saying no to her, I was siding more on the side of no, but wanted more opinions.
