I didnt catch up with everything, but I did see what you're going thru and wish you all the luck in the world!

<blockquote><b>Quoting SaraDenise:</b>" I may be farther along, I'll just have to see. I ended up going with Taylor. Of course, haven't got ... [snip!] ... pregnancy confirmation has been accepted in the morning. At this rate I'm going to know the sex by the second appointment. Lol"</blockquote>

Taylor was the on call the night I went to the ER :) I didn't actually get to meet her, but because of that they were able to squeeze me in for Tuesday. I still haven't managed to find much info on her.

I did find out that if I go with Hensley I will NOT see Whittington for any reason other than Hensley being out of town when I deliver... Any other time if she is unavailable I would just see her nurse. So far she's the one coming best recommended, but she's the one that can't get me in til July... Tough decision...

About the SoonerCare, call the health department and ask to talk to Kay. There was a glitch in the state computer systems a few weeks ago and it caused a lot of problems for a lot of women. Mine got CANCELED because the system wouldn't accept the electronic pregnancy verification the WIC nurse tried to send. As soon as I found out I called them & they got it reinstated with no lapse in coverage.

If I had known the Health Department would send it in I would have sent it in a lot sooner! When I filled out for insurance on-line it said take the pregnancy verification to DHS and they will fax it for you. I took it the same day I went to the health department and DHS said they no longer faxed it in for people. Urg... I don't think faxing it in would help me right now. I called the soonercare hotline the day I was at Taylor's office and I asked if I faxed it in right then how long would it take for them to accept it. The rude lady said it might be days before anyone looked at it. I mailed it in last Wednesday, so hopefully something happens soon....

At least you are seeing Taylor right away and if you like her you can skip seeing the other doctor and if you don't click then you can go ahead and see the other doctor. So far, I am loving Taylor's staff!!

I have noticed it here and there last night my jaw popped and it hurt!! My teeth have all "felt" loose and the Dr said that is normal because your bones and stuff become more fluid during pregnancy.

My first appointment was yesterday, baby's heart beat was 177! I got my first ultrasound and measuring right at 10weeks4days like i thought. I am due January 11th but because I am so high risk, the doctor told me that I will have a baby no later then January 4th. The doctor gave me 2 jugs that i had to take home and collect pee in.. I have to do it 24 hours and bring it back tomorrow, he is checking my kidney functions because I am sooo swollen all over my body. He also is doing all my blood work on Friday, then I go back in 2 weeks. He is seeing me every 2 weeks instead of monthly. Buttttt, here is my gummy bear!

So sweet!! Seeing the baby so early in pregnancy and then as pregnancy progresses really puts it in perspective how much of a miracle pregnancy is!! Congrats!

Holy moly. This constipation crap is for the birds. I am so severely constipated it's not even funny. I have tried EVERYTHING. I have drank prune juice (ugh. just the thought of it makes me gag), taken fiber supplements, take 3 stool softeners a day, I have ate tons of nuts, taken a few suppositories with little to no luck and even tried peppermint tea. I think it's safe to say that I may have a blockage somewhere in my digestive tract. It's so uncomfortable. TMI but honestly, i'd rather have explosive diarrhea than be constipated right now.
I hope all you ladies are faring better than me!

Okay ladies, I remember seeing some of you that got the Sonoline B fetal doppler and I want some information from some of you!!
I went to the ER yesterday and they told me that I was more than likely having a miscarriage because they found the heartbeat at first, but couldn't find it again. Well, I got my doppler in the mail today and I ended up finding a heartbeat and it was at a steady 132 bpm. It sounded like a washing machine, exactly what my son's sounded like.
Did any of you get to record the sound? If so, would you be willing to post a sound clip so I could compare it?
I am so confused on what to think, but I feel fine today. No bleeding, no cramping. But I know I can't get into my doctor until the 27th because that was when my next appointment was.
I am way too anxious over this.

If it sounds like a washing machine that to me sounds more like the placenta area or an echo of your hearbeat / pulse but I am no doctor haha... my babies HB is around 160 and sounds like a horse galloping... that is the best way I can put it... I have it recorded on my phone and could send you a copy that way so you can hear what it should sound like... I know they can differ in speed but it could give you an idea if what you found is the right sound.... If you want me to PM me and give me your number and I can forward the heartbeat clips to you... Good Luck hun!!!

I found one on youtube that is only a few days off mine and it sounded exactly like what I heard.

They are all different and ours is on the fast side... I am just going by what I have found at home... I hope that you did find a strong heartbeat and everything is ok!!

Went to the doctor this morning...he listened to the heartbeat..154bpm and he says that's great..I'm measuring 12 weeks and my due date changed to three days earlier now..he says I can stop taking my progesterone suppositories when this bottle runs out! Thank God!! I truly believe God and his suppositories are going to make sure this baby hangs in for the long haul!! best wishes to all the mommies!!!
