To be honest unless I see something on the news or come on here I don't really give America much more than a passing thought. The same way I do Ecuador or Laos.

I just came back from France. Not one persons cared that we were American. In Sweden however every time we said we were American the people would tell us they don't like America. Not that they didn't like us...just America.

Nope ... I even had to look Boston up on a map after the bombings because I had no idea where in the US it was. Can you believe we're not even taught American geography or history (except some key events that affected the rest of us) in school?
