How were you during labor and delivery? I had an epidural with my first son, so nothing dramatic, I guess. My son was out after maybe 10-15 minutes of pushing. It was a pretty quiet delivery, I guess.

Did you scream?
I want to try harder to go without the epidural this time. The only part that scares me is when baby is crowning.

It just felt like I took lots of laxatives. Lots of cramping, I didn't scream, but I cried and almost puked. I did say "It hurts, it hurts so much". But I didn't scream or cuss or anything.

I had an 8 hour labour from first contraction to birth.

I never screamed. I grunted some at the most. Some nurses commented on how quiet I was lol. it was fairly intense but I am not a screamer in any sense for anything lol. my pushing was within minutes with all four. (fast labors too) hurt like hell not going to lie about that haha

Ive never had any drugs with either and i did ok. With my first my husband said it was awkward cause i was so quiet. I didnt even make a peep i think. With my second i didnt scream but i was a lot louder specially when her head came out and they pretty much had to pull her shoulders out that hurt and i kinda made some noise but nothing too crazy haha

No epidural no screaming I was having contractions for 2 days before so I only got maybe an hour of sleep during active labor and I pushed him out while i was kinda sleeping still lol and when his shoulders came out it didn't feel bad maybe like a sunburn for a split second

My first one i laboured for almost 12 hours with back labour and no epidural or screaming.

The second one i laboured for 3h45m, with back labour. No epidural. Lots of screaming, swearing and crying. It was horrific.

I swore.. a lot :D. but I never screamed. When I was pushing I just shut my eyes and kept pushing. Luckily I had a fast labor and birth.

The contractions and laboring was the hardest part. Once I felt her and had the urge to push, I don't even remember pain. Then it was all over with and my 9 pound 6 oz chunk was in my arms.

Honestly, it wasn't as hard as everyone told me it would be, which is exactly what I figured it would be like. I didn't scream, and it really wasn't painful...it was just extremely extremely intense. I couldn't talk, definetly couldn't scream. I didn't want to, either. It was pretty chill but i remember telling my husband 'this is not fun' lol.
My labor was 7 hours long and (according to my husband) i only pushed three times.

I had a home birth which is why I was able to achieve this type of birth for myself. I was able to really just go on pure instincts. It was amazing!!

when my third crowned I screamed. she came out with her arm which made it unbelievably more painful than with my second.

I labored at home and took a few showers- that helped ALOT. At the hosp I labored in a tub so that took away most of the pain, by the time I delivered my son I think my body was just completely relaxed b/c I didn't scream or anything just kinda "hummed" loudly.

i did not scream.

but i'm not a screamer.

i grunted a lot. and moaned.

the crowning was better than transition, b/c it's all too fast and frenzied by then. i vaguely remember the pain of crowning but it makes no impression like the time when the contractions were piling up w/out quitting during transition.
