Do you think there is a limit to what you should post online? when it comes to sex, medical issues, personal situations with your SO, etc? My sister-in-law is posting publicly about having her Essure checked and taken out. to me this is a bit tacky, proclaiming to everyone that your birth control is "messed up" and you are having it taken out. to me this is similar to telling everyone whenever you use a condom. why broadcast it?

I'm really open about most stuff and post about all kinds of different things. The only thing that is "off limits" in my book is posting drama type things, whether with DH or a friend I leave that shit out. But I see no problem with talking about sex, BC, money. I feel like so many more ppl would be educated about this stuff it if wasnt all so "hush hush."

I dont think fb should limit you but I think you should have some common sense not to post private matters online. So's sil post stuff about her kids starving and power shut off and kicked out of their house when they put them in that predicament by caring mote about getting high then working so I finally deleted her.

I think it does get ridiculous sometimes. Like when people post back and forth at each other about their fucked up relationship. I had a guy post in detail about the first time he made love to his gf, then that girl posted a picture of her baby's first hard poop. That's over board lol. But I do say things that are personal, but never about my sex life or what color my baby's shit was today.

I think some people post a little more than necessary, to be honest. Some things I really don't care to know. But ultimately, it's up to them. We have the option to friend/de-friend who we want.

I think on fb that's a bit too much but on here I don't mind it as much. I don't know these people personally and you get used to it on here.

Lucky lady, I wish I could afford getting my Essure out. :(
It is a nightmare to have, she is probably very excited that she will feel normal again.

If you're so excited about your birth control you feel the need to announce it to all your friends and family, that's a little weird to me... I think that people often forget social media announces the things you post to EVERYBODY, and that there are some things you can call a friend or friends about instead of posting.

My best friends and I have a totally private Facebook group where we post all our bitchy complaining and TMI stuff, and I love it

yeah I don't delete people for things like this, but I do make groups so when I post I make sure it is going to an appropriate audience... like I wouldn't post the same thing she did for my pastor to see :/

Modesty? Is that still a word in our society? I wonder how many young girls even know what it means.

I dont care what people type. I say whats on my mind. I dont post nudie shit but I honestly dont care if others do. I talk about my ovarian cysts and how much it sucks, I have other friends that went through it and we relate. If people say its too much they can delete me or not look :)
