Pfft.
I've always left sleeping kids in their room to take the others outside to run around.

That's because you have so many of them. I feel like, with only having 2, I should be able to manage them better

But no, I feel so much better now. I might even take him out again later while she's asleep. We don't get enough one on one time.

Even when I had 2.

I'd leave Misa in her crib, take the monitor outside, and let Lilli draw with chalk everywhere. Or play in the park since it was right across the street.

We don't have a f**king park anywhere near us. We'd have to walk like, 3 miles to get to one. I suppose that means I need a license. But I'd rather just be pissed about it.

BAD MOTHER. BAD.

You didn't do anything wrong. Like others have said it's the same thing as letting your DD sleep in your two story house while you sit outside with your DS. I probably would've had a baby monitor with me but I get paranoid about that stuff easily.

I'm SO paranoid. It's so bad. I've gotten a lot better since having Bri. The second kid is just....IDK. Indestructible hahaha. Except when they fall off of the couch onto their head. Yesterday.

Fortunately, DD is super content, even once she wakes up in her room alone. She'll just run around and play and talk to herself until I go get her haha.

Imagine what it's like with 4.

Basically, as long as no one is going to die, I just don't have the time to care enough to be paranoid.

Lucky :x DD wakes up like a bat out of hell. Waking up sucks but still, I could do without the screaming and thrashing around until she gets a bottle or a popsicle.

If you ask my kids, the first thing out of my mouth when they tell me they hurt themselves is:

"Are you bleeding to death/Are going to die?"

YES.

I'm like "I'm gonna be right back. Do not open the door. If your leg is not broken, you're not bleeding, and the house isn't on fire, please leave me alone for 5 minutes".

I did the same thing a couple times with my DS he was under a year old and it was hard living on the 3rd floor and trying to carry all the groceries plus him up and down all the stairs while he was sleeping in his carseat.. i would take him up first and as many bags as i could then i would lock him in and go grab the rest really fast... Or there was one time my DH got completely drunk puking everywhere and all that, There was no way i would be able to help him up 3 flights of stairs so i had to call his friend who was also our roomate that i was leaving him in the truck and he needed to bring him up for me lol i put DS in his crib and the girl roomate was sleeping on the couch so i would go downstairs to make sure my DH was fine until his friend got there. but i would go up every couple minutes to check on DS.. so you are not the only one who has done this!! :)
