Today really sucked! Sorry if this is all jumbled, Im exhausted and stressed. I am a head teacher at a infant toddler program. We are getting a new teacher at the end of the month when she graduates college but until then we get a sub. I just started working with her and i figured she would be good in the infant room since there was only three babies and the toddler room has 5 toddlers. One of the babies started fussing and i could tell he was hungry so i walked her through how to warm up a bottle of BM. She wouldn't do it!!!! :? She started to give me all these excuses on how she never breastfed her daughter because she thinks its gross and how she doesn't want to touch the milk. I had to stop working with my toddlers and switch rooms with her. The worst part is it was MY son that she didn't want to feed:? So I Just worked 7-5 today going back in forth between rooms. The toddler room was a disaster and the kids were going crazy. I really wanted to just go in there and take over but I couldnt leave the babies with a lady that was uncomfortable with even warming up a bottle and handing it to my 7 month old son!

If she refuses to feed the children, she should NOT work there. I'd report her.

I would request a new sub. How does she expect to work at a daycare when she won't touch a bottle of breastmilk

I wouldn't leave my kid with her either, knowing she won't feed him.

I am going to talk to my boss tonight. I am so stressed out about this, and I know my boss is going to be stressed to because if she gets rid of her then we wont have coverage. I need a sub until the 27th :(

What a complete idiot. It's milk in a bottle... you don't have to touch it with your hands, and it isn't like you asked her to whip out her tit and feed him. I hate people.

For f**ks sake, she's not spooning the breastmilk out with her hands! You don't even touch it!

ya, she didnt have to. she could of handed it to him and he would of eaten it cold but she still was being a b***h about it. Its not that big of a deal. We have other breastfed babies and I test the milk out on my arm.
