in baby food. I can't get E to eat baby food for anything, store bought or home made. All he wants is breast or what we are eating. He only has the two bottom front teeth and chokes easily so I am still leery about him eating what we are. I have added my breast milk to it , still no interest. No actual questions. But any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Trust me I wont be offended.

If you're breastfeeding (depending on his age) I don't think he needs it if he doesn't want it! Can't you EB til a year?

Just don't push it. I started my now 10-mo on table food at 6 months. Just make the bites very very tiny, steam veggies really well, and bananas are always a good choice for first food since they mush easily. It's a mess but they have way more fun and learn more by feeding themselves anyway.

He's probably just not ready. Babies only need formula or breast milk for the first year.

My son didn't, or I guess I should say WOULDN'T, eat baby food until he was almost ten months old!

I am still feeding on demand and definitely before solids. But he wants the solid food too. Just not the baby food. He keeps trying to grab my food to eat.

I am gonna state right now, I am not trying to push the food on him. He refuses the purees, but wants the chunkier foods. I am concerned about him choking. He has been offered the food maybe three times. He gets breastfeed exclusively otherwise. Was just trying to figure out a way to help with the purees since he wants solid foods. I will probably just stop offering it. Just does break my heart because sometimes he will cry til he sees solid food. Even when I am offering my breast.

Then just let him have regular food. Just very very tiny bites. :)

True. I guess I just am worried because he chokes on my breast milk. Ya think I would have a handle on things being the 4th child. lol.
