Insurance issues AGAIN InkDMomma 35 kids; Clinton Township, Michigan 27418 posts

SO apparently my secondary insurance ( medicaid) DECIDED right after I got my last script for Lovenox that they were going to drop me without telling me. ( before I hear shit about it, my normal insurance through DHs work would not cover a dime of my injections and they are close to $1000.00 a month)
SO I call today to get my script like normal and they tell me that they I no longer have insurance with them and I need to figure something else out.
WHAT THE HELL?!
It shouldn't be allowed to just stop someones insurance without telling them! I am out of Lovenox on Monday... SO hopefully this shit gets all figured out by then.

This isn't fair... :? I thought today was going to be a good day and now I'm an emotional wreck because I do not know what I am going to do or what is going to happen with all of this.
I spent all morning calling at least 15 different numbers so now it's a waiting game.

My daughter has Medicaid at the moment cause her biological father refuses to put her on his insurance and Medicaid just dropped her out of no where also. I didn't find this out till the other day when I tried taking her to the doctors.I had to pay 200 out of pocket. It just sucks.I hate the state of Michigan at times.

They did that to me with my son's too. He has it for the same reason as your daughter.
You never find out until you f**king go to get a script or a doctor visit.
It's so f**king unfair, and they wonder why you are so upset whenever you call them.

Right. My case worker refuses to return my calls, emails. The last time I called her the voice mail was full so I couldn't leave one. Its so frustrating. On top of it my daughter is sick. So I need health insurance for her. I'm tired of always being on the phone trying to straighten it out.

If I can't get these injections I am going to lose this baby. I am so upset right now I can't even think straight.
I really hope everything comes together today :(

I hope you get it straight soon. When I was taking Lovenox before they switched me to Heparin without my insurance it would've costs me $2500 a month for the injections and that was for the generic brand! Good luck!

I'm NOT looking forward to when I switch because I have a feeling it's going to be another head ache with them

They can't just drop you for no reason. Either you qualify or you don't. Don't call, go to the office and demand answers.
Also, to those with children on it... your children's fathers can be court-ordered to carry insurance if they have it available to them at reasonable cost. Maybe something to look into.

Oh weird... here there's income requirements and every month you have to fill out paperwork to make sure you still qualify.

really? the state doesn't make him get insurance for her? here, when BD got a job that offered insurance, he had to take it for LO.
