Same. At this rate I'll likely be dropping my Son off at soccer practice in his 5 point

LMAO, well you know you won't be alone in doing so!
that's weird to hear other people's experiences on the bus.
i swear the bus was the only place i DID behave. i would just sit and listen to my CDs and try to sleep. there was one time i almost had sex with someone...but, well, i don't have an excuse other than the fact that i was slutty. lol
for the most part people behaved on the buses i was on....more rowdier as we got older...but nothign really major.
DD more often than not tells me everything that happens at school/the bus. so i know the kids aren't too crazy on her bus. the girls in the back call her a "stupid face"...that's pretty much the worst of it.

I hear ya. I also didn't have great experiences on the bus either. There were these boys on the bus who were picking on me because I had stretch marks on my hips and they saw. My bus driver had enough, stopped and parked the bus, went to the back where the boys were, yelled at them and stood up for me, telling them that it ain't their business and that all women have stretch marks. She reminded me of Roseanne Barr. I liked her though. Even though the kids weren't nice, my bus driver wasn't putting up with it. Everyone has different experiences, so I have to keep in mind what kind if experiences would my son be exposed to.

That a big thing too. They don't have seat belts or anything on most busses. My dd is 5.5 and still harnessed. I can't imagine her on a bus.
