Like, literally, today. He can officially scoot on his butt. He doesn't crawl, can roll to back to his tummy but doesn't/won't roll back from there. He doesn't try to pull himself up on things but if I guide him he's fine for a limited amount of time. It just worries me that just NOW he's learning to scoot. Am I over-thinking this? I know all babies are different, just seems a little late...especially to only scoot and not crawl. TIA! :)
You need to bring that up to his pediatrician. That's pretty concerning honestly.
Ehhh. My niece didn't crawl until she was almost 14 months old!
I wouldn't be too concerned, but I would bring it up with your Pedi.
Quoting Loka Lokita:" You need to bring that up to his pediatrician. That's pretty concerning honestly."
I mean, some kids never crawl and just walk so I don't think that's an issue. But you think it is about the scooting?
You're overthinking. 10 months is still in the range of normal. But if you're really worried, talk to your pedi :)
