I'm 37 weeks & my son weighs approx. 6.13 lbs. I'm just wondering if he'll decide to make his appearance a little earlier since he's a bit bigger.
Just wondering when some Mom's who have been through all ready went into labor. How many weeks were you & how much did baby weigh?

first I was a few days shy of 36 weeks, she was 5 lbs 6oz. second I was 2 days shy of 39 weeks and he was 6lbs 4oz.

sucky thing is even though hes bigger doesn't mean he will come any sooner.

In-utero measurements via ultrasound can be off at least a pound in either direction, so he might not be as big as you have been told.

My 37 weeks 2 day premature son was 6 pounds 0.6 ounces at birth.

My dr told me dd was going to be 10+ lbs and to prepare for a csection. She came at 39 wks and was 6 lbs 7 oz. I don't trust their estimates lol

Big baby does not mean they will come earlier. They guessed my son was 7lbs 10oz at 37 weeks. He hung in until 39 weeks and a bit and only came because I need an emergency csection. He weighed almost 12lbs I was certain I would of went over due had I not needed one.

This one they're guessing will weigh 9lbs - 10. I have a csection scheduled at 39 weeks. But I'm 38 weeks and haven't had a single sign of labour yet!

So baby could come soon or could come right at term. Their size won't affect when it comes though!

I know! I was so freaked out because I didn't know not to trust them, I mean they are the drs lol I decided to never trust them on weight again lol they based it off how far I was measuring, my weight (along with how I was carrying) and my results from the gd test.

Right now I'm measuring 43 weeks at 37 weeks (last week) so I don't know how accurate that is either lol

Oh wow I was only 2 weeks ahead but I also knew I conceived on my period and my dr didn't believe me so I always knew I was a week ahead. She came right when I said she would and at my gender scan she was measuring a week ahead of what the drs said. I was so naive (I think that's how it's spelled lol) and trusted them completely so I prepared for a 10+ lb baby and didn't buy any newborn size clothes. Go figure all the newborn clothes we ended up buying she swam in lol

Size of the baby wasn't really a factor in when I went into labor. 6lbs at 37 weeks isn't all that big either.

I had a 9lb 9oz boy two weeks late, and my daughter was the smallest at 7lbs 12oz and the earliest of all 3 (37.5weeks)... so you just never know.

My dates are accurate as well I'm just guessing he'll be big like his brother. But ya never know it's hard to tell! I only bought 2 newborn outfits though haha
