It really depends on your budget, your car and your kids size. I have fallen in complete love with the NextFit and the MySize and I think they work for just about any child and car. They will both most likely expire before the child outgrows them, that is how much they give in growth room. They are also VERY compact. They are the tallest seats on the market right now and two of the most compact. The Chicco NextFit is $300, you can find on sale for less though, and the Graco MySize is 144 at BRU right now. The Radian is recommended by a lot, but since the NextFit and MySize came out, I can't see the need for the Radian unless you have a child who would benefit from the extra 5 pounds rear facing. Most need the height more than the weight. The Radian boasts a booster as well, but the booster is outgrown the same time the harness is, unless you have a short kid who reaches 85 pounds, which is not the norm for 99% of kids.

Agreed! By far the best! It's the only seat you'll ever need. Has the height st weight/Height limits for extended rear facing and extended 5 pt harnessing. And if you plan to have more kids its the only seat that you can fit 3 across in a car ;)

Most children outgrow the harness between 4-6. 5 being the average age.
