SO sold the puppy that I've had for about 2 months and gotten attached to, after I told him I wanted to keep the dog, while I was at work and didn't tell me until I got home to see that she was gone, and then lied to me about how much he got for her. (He told me $50 but only got $40, I paid $75 for her.)

He doesn't understand why I'm so mad. He says he hates the dog and wants it gone. Apparently while I was at work she shit somewhere and he beat her ass and she shit on him and the bed or something. So he got online and sold her. He has said before that he loves her, so I don't know what to think.

So, I went on the website that he sold her on, and posted that he sold her without my permission and would whoever bought her please get back in touch with me. So the woman did and she was very nice and wanted me to come get the dog back that night. She said she felt horrible and she knew something was up when she told him she would get her Friday and he said no I have to have her gone tonight. She told me she really hoped I would stand my ground and keep the dog. So I did.

Now SO is really pissed of at me for doing that. I don't think he has any right to be mad at me because he fucked me over first. The adult thing for him to have done was put the dog outside and waited for me to get home and tell me what happened. Because then I might have understood that he really didn't want her. And we could have gotten rid of her together. I could have picked who I wanted her to go to..

So because he didn't do that, and he sold her.. Now I REALLY wanna keep her.

I told him to get over his self and kiss my ass, I am keeping her.

I like what you did. I'd consider putting him outside on a chain and keeping the dog inside.

I would be really worried for her safety while I was gone. :( That poor baby. What happens if your kid poops in the floor when they are potty training? Is he going to get pissed off and beat them too? Sounds like he has some anger issues. I would not keep her if he is going to mistreat her. It's not fair to her to be abused. Sorry, I know you want to keep her, but that is just MHO.

That was definitely very childish of him to do. Sounds like he needs to work on his communication.

I keep saying this and he gets all mad at me. He says he's not being childish and he is fully justified because he told me before that he wanted to sell her.

Okay, I've told you before that i wanted to keep her. Where is the line?

The only reason we haven't actually tried to get rid of her before was because I never know when to take him serious. Like I said sometimes he says he loves her...

This is insanely similar to what happens w/ our cats. He's never sold them but he's thrown the out the door and they just sit there, shaking, until I come get them. IDK what to do either :(...

Anyone who "beats a dogs ass" would not be my SO any longer.

Ome pop on the bottom would not have caused that poor puppy to poop all over him... Are you sure he didn't do more?

I mean i was at work but yeah shes done ot to me before too. She pissed on me.

And yes we both agreed to get her.

When i found her and wanted her he went and picked her up while i was at work and loved her. I told him before he got her that she is a puppy and going to be a lot of work and i asked him if he could handle it. He said yes. Thats another reason i was so pissed.
