Why does it seem like no matter what I do, the bleeding gets worse?

I've done everything the doctors say. I stay off my feet. I barely even pick up my 14 month old unless I absolutely have to cause I'm not supposed to lift anything. I haven't been cleaning and have been letting DH do it like they said. Even when I shower, I only stand up long enough to wash my hair and then sit with the water running over me to wash everything else.

Why is the bleeding still this bad and not getting better? Shouldn't it be better by now? I feel like such a failure, like I'm failing her. She isn't even here yet and I'm failing her already. She deserves more than this and I should be able to do more for her. I feel so helpless and confused and scared... and nothing helps.

So, why?

Do they know why you are bleeding?

My placenta previa. There was a pretty big abruption last time they looked. They said there wasn't anything they could do and it was something I'll just have to deal with until I deliver, but it may get better once I started taking it more easy or whatever.

But nope. It's getting worse. Some days it seems like it's going to slow down, and then bam, it gushes all over again.

Aww I'm sorry Hun. I hope it gets better for you. I'm sure that has got to be a pain in the ass.

It's just scary. I've seriously never had to deal with anything like this. I'm 20 weeks and they just keep warning me that she may not make it to viability. And if my bleeding is still like this once she is viable, they will probably take her.

I'm doing everything they tell me. Taking my meds and prenatals (when I can keep them down) and taking it as easy as I can and it's like it doesn't do any good. It's killing me that I can't just...fix this, ya know? I should be able to, or to keep her safe.

Sorry, I'm having a really bad day with this :(

You have every right to feel how you are and have bad days. Don't blame yourself things just happen sometimes. I will have my fingers crossed for you in hopes that the bleeding stops and you have a happy healthy baby girl at the end of your pregnancy!

I'll keep that in mind, thank you.

I've been doing decent with keeping it in and trying to stay positive. I just couldn't today.
