I have bad teeth. A majority of the family on my mom's side have dentures or implants. My grandmother had dentures by the age of 19. Mine are to the point now that when I brush my teeth some start to chip away. I'm having trouble deciding on if I should get dentures, and get implants slowly since they are so expensive? My teeth are beyond the point of saving. I feel so disgusting now because of it. No matter how well I took care of them it still happened. Damn genetics.

I would get it checked out and see what doc has to say first.

I just don't think I would be okay with getting dentures at such a young age. You will have to talk to a dentist to determine what is right for you. They might be able to set up a payment plan to help you with the costs.

Im pretty much in the same boat as you op. If your like me its probably going to boil down to cost. I was quoted 20,000 for just the top set for implants and even with monthly payment it would still be more than I can do. I k.ow they have implant posts for dentures to keep them more secure so they arent falling out of your mouth.

My boyfriend had to get a partial because his teeth literally rotted out, they think its because of him throwing up so much as a child. He got that at 17 and wishes he would've just gotten them all removed and got dentures while he was covered on insurance
