We just pointed out different colors as we wnt about our day. Like when we went outside I would tell her "Isn't the green grass soft today?" Then would ask "What color is the grass again, Mommy forgot?" We did that with everything, from the color of our walls to the color of her cup. Eventually she just got it. I kind of prefer to teach that way, it's very hands on and makes it fun.
Quoting lolajessup:" <blockquote><b>Quoting mom2andrew&carter:</b>" my 2 year old knows his whole alphabet ... [snip!] ... We are working on numbers 1-10 right now"</blockquote> Does he just sing them or can he identify them on random order?"
Matthew can't sing the song to save his life
He knows them and their sounds though. No clue how because I've never sat down to teach them, he just picked it up from Kay's school time I guess.
<blockquote><b>Quoting amazing grace:</b>" What are some fun things to do to help a 2 y/o and a 3 y/o learn their colors? This week we're going ... [snip!] ... to teach them, something that they'll be interested in. So how do you teach your kids their colors, shapes, numbers, alphabet?"</blockquote>
