Quoting Mama*AtoZ:" So the fabric panel to sit on comes out of/is attached to the bottom of the waistband rather than the ... [snip!] ... my own) but i've not come across this before. I preferred an SSC or woven wrap as sitting up high is a lot more supportive. "

I have no idea lol, so you think I should flip the waist band around so that the tags should be touching my back?

Nope, you have it right... It's just a cheaper wrap and not made as well as the more expensive ones that you buy on-line and at specialty stores.

I didn't know they sell them at walmart, never looked tho lol. I got this one at babies R US, Its a cheaper Mei Tai but I have not had any problems with it, the straps are padded and it's pretty comfy. I have never had a more expensive one so I dont have anything to compare it to.

Check Craigslist or a children's second hand store as the Ergo is much better and worth the $$$ IMO

i'd love an ergo, but i really dont use my carrier that much...only when at the store or something like that so i still cant justify even buying a used one at 75 bucks :/
