How close are you to the beach?

What's the perfect distance that you can get there in a jiffy but aren't bothered with all the locals and hurricanes?

I can't get to a beach in 15 mins, and two different ones in 30 mins.

We live about 40 minutes from Lake Erie. I never want to live more than an hour from the water. We don't have to worry about hurricanes. Sometimes I work at cedar point which is on the lake. We have tourist towns but nothing too serious

Less than a 5 minute drive. I used to walk down there all the time.

What part of Wa are you at? We actually lived in oak harbor for about 4 years.
To Op i live about 30 to 45 min depending on traffic from miami beach and about 1 hour to 2 from the FL Keys.
