Sapphire - not expecting. brooke_x 1 child; Australia 144 posts

Just a side note, I'm not actually expecting or anything I was just thinking today that if I were to have another girl, I've always loved the name Sapphire, but couldn't for the life of me think up any middle names that I thought fit well.

My 3 month old Daughters name is Violet Rose Sheridan-Hayes.
So I feel that Sapphire is a fairly long name in itself let alone with the hyphened last names, so just curious as to what middle names you think suit with Sapphire. (if any) :)

Sapphire Grace
Sapphire Monet
Sapphire Belle
Sapphire Vivian

I'll try to think of more :)

No offense but sapphire sound like an exotic dancer compared to the elegant violet

Perhaps

Sapphira?

IMO it's much classier

Heh.

OP, I'd either use it as a middle name or see if there's a variant.

Hahah no offence taken, I've actually heard someone say that before. I don't see it, I've never heard of an exotic dancer with that name though, I like it from a book I read and she was a princess so I suppose that's just what sticks in my head.:) Thanks though! Sapphira is quite nice.

I live in las vegas and we have the largest strip club in the world here. It's called sapphires. Lol.

Hey but you know what! The 'Mercedes' stripper/slutty/ghetto name. The man who started the brand Mercedes named the company after his daughter, Mercedes. SO ACTUALLY he was naming his luxury cars after his princess.

Anyways I know a ton of dancers and I've met a few named saphire. But don't take it wrong. Dancers pick fake names for a reason obviously but you wouldn't name yourself something ugly. So take it as a compliment when people say it sounds like a stripper name because the strippers pick the prettiest names.

That's fine!:) Just here in Australia we don't have many strip clubs or anything so its a pretty uncommon name here. and I mean by the time I have my next I may not even like it by then hahaha:) Thanks for your input though! x
