No weight gain. Brooklynn and Izzabelles Due August 21; 1 child; Kalamazoo, Michigan 18 posts7th May
Hi, I am 24 weeks almost 25 weeks pregnant, and I have not gained any weight. My BMI before pregnancy was on the lower side of normal doc told me to expect to gain 25 to 30 lbs this pregnancy, but as it is I gained 8 ounces then lost a pound and a half. They said the 8 ounces could have been water retention. I was wondering did anyone else experience this? I eat about 6-7 meals a day, keep up on my fluids, and make sure to make healthy choices when eating. I work full time on my feet all day for 8 hours and I have a daughter that is 17 months that I come home and chase around. Am I doing to much? I have a doctors appointment monday and an ultrasound to measure my baby girl to make sure she is growing properly. What shoudl I expect to happen if this continues? Should I talk to my doctor about restricting what I do at work? Advice please!

I'm in the same spot. I'm 23 weeks and I've gained like 1 pound if that. But I was overweight to begin with so my doctors aren't worried about it at all.

As long as baby is growing you should be fine some people don't gain until the end of the pregnancy.

I'm almost 31 weeks and up until about a week ago I lost weight as well. My weight before hand was a small number I spoke with my dr about all the same things and nothing has changed until now. Your body will only take what the baby needs. :-)
