Tell me about your labor Mrs. Meatball Due June 18 (girl); Virginia 25 posts

Hi ladies... As my due date comes closer, I can't help but think about the entire labor and delivery part of it all. I'm well aware that labor varies greatly from pregnancy to pregnancy, but I'm still very curious how your experience was!
I'd be immensely greatful if you'd take the time to copy, paste and answer the following questions as best as you can/want to for an anxious mom-to-be! Thanks in advance!!!

1. Which birth (first, second...)?
2. How did you deliver (vaginally, c/s, epidural, water...)?
3. What gestational age?
4. How long was your early labor?
5. When did your active labor start? Time? Signs (i.e.: contractions, waters breaking, bloody show...)?
6. When did you go to the hospital?
7. When did your transitional labor start?
8. Did you have a bloody show? What time? Which stage of labor?
9. When did your waters break? What time? Which stage?
10. When did you start pushing?
11. How long until your baby was out? How many pushes?
12. Your baby's weight and length?
13. Additional details you wouldn't mind sharing? (i.e.: how long until you delivered placenta, tearing, cord cutting...)

Thank you so much!!!

My labor was awesome. Had her at 38 weeks. Went into labor naturally. Got an epidural at 7cm and it was amazing. Easy birth, she was 5lb 3oz...perfect. She was born in her bag of waters.

My dd which is my first came at 40 weeks and 1 day I was in labor for 50+ hours I had to get my water broken about 38 hours in to it then I had to get pitocen to help the process, pushed for half an hour and that's what hurt, it hurt like a b***h , she weighed 5 pounds 8 ounces. Completely healthy.

I woke up on my due date with wet underwear, not like soaking but alot of discharge. Got up to pee and had my bloody show in the toilet. I woke SO up and he convinced me to go to the hospital to get checked. They did both of those smear tests to see if my water broke (they said it did but I had absolutely no leaking whatsoever). They told me to come back at 4pm, got induced then, laboured for 8 hours then they gave me the epi and broke my water (even though they said it had broken... I really think they were wrong.. I had NO leaking) then laboured really comfortably for 14 more hours. The doctor wanted to give me a csection but I refused and asked for another 2 hours, he agreed. I napped, woke up and went from 4cm at 22 hours of labour to 10 cm at 24 hours. I pushed for 20 mins and my daughter came out :) the pushing part was very calm, smooth and quick. I will avoid induction this time though.. My daughter was in distress for the last few hours and I hated being constricted to my bed for 24 hours with no food lol.

I tore up to my a*****e. Third degree tear. I got stitches after delivering him and had surgery a year after his birth to repair my a*****e. I suffered for a year going to the bathroom. It was absoluetly horrifying and excruitiating. Plus I didn't get to hold him after birth for the skin to skin because my fever and blood pressure were through the roof and they rushed my son to the NICU to give him antibiotics. My poor newborn was pricked with needles the same day he came into the world :(

1st baby
Vaginal Delivery
36 weeks 2 days
No early labor. Contractions started at 11:45 pm and were painless but 2 minutes apart.
Went to the hospital almost immediately. Hubby had to do some convincing because I was in any pain. Got to the hospital.around 12:45 am. Still wasnt feeling pain.
Had my bloody show while giving a urine sample.
Was checked and was almost 8 cm!!
Hit transition pretty quick. Handled contractions by basically hyperventilating. Felt the urge to push pretty quickly. Told the nurse and she checked and I was ready but no midwife!! She was stuck in a wreck from the snowstorm.
She finally arrived. First push and my water burst everywher. 3 more pushes and baby was here.
Tate Millan K. was born at 1:31 am, only 1 hr 46 minutes after feeling the very first contraction of my whole pregnancy. He was 6 lbs 1 oz and perfectly healthy!!

2nd baby
Vaginal Delivery
Born at 36 weeks 3 days.
Was checked at my 36 week appointment and was 5 cm with a bulging bag. Was sent to Labor and Delivery and was contracting every 2 minutes. Decided it would be best to keep me overnught for gbs antibiotics and induce the next day.
After a very busy day of births I was finally induced. They broke ky water at 2:10 pm and I went to 6 1/2 cm. After only I short while I was I only felt the beginning of the first contraction and then took control by deep breathing. I never felt any pain at all and absolutely loved giving birth.
After only 3 pushes and 36 minutes of labor Bo Delainie was delivered at 2:46 pm. She was 5 lbs 3 oz and perfectly healthy.

I had both babies naturally and am so glad I didnt get the epidural like I had planned!

4. How long was your early labor? No idea, woke up to contractions already 3 mins apart around 4 am
5. When did your active labor start? Time? Signs (i.e.: contractions, waters breaking, bloody show...)? My doctor broke my water at about 7:30 am and my contractions almost came to a complete stop
6. When did you go to the hospital? Got there around 7 am (had to pack my two youngests bag for grandparents house and drop them off before going to hospital)
7. When did your transitional labor start? Too quick I'm not sure
8. Did you have a bloody show? What time? Which stage of labor? Nope
9. When did your waters break? What time? Which stage? Doctor broke it

I asked the doctor if SO could cut the cord right after Max was out and he did. And after Max was out I felt perfectly great. Didn't feel like I had a baby. I was up walking around fine within hours (would of sooner if the nurses let me lol)
