Seems like there are a few things she needs to educate herself about.

Pitocin can have several side effects, which include nausea and vomiting.
Look it up.

Strep B won't cause any need for induction. They just have to give you antibiotics so it's not passed to the baby. From what I know of, it's not really a big deal if you have it (I just got tested this week, I'll find out the results next week :))

Yea I ddnt knw what it was prior to today. I asked the nurse and she said it's like a bacterial infection and you have a 50/50 chance of qettinq it bc you can qet it frm somethinq as ordinary as qoinq to the qrocery store and touchinq the bar thinq on a shoppinq cart. So its nothinq major. She said I'll qet antibiotics for it whn I qo into labor....Hope yours turns out neqative tho. The less meds, the better, I say :)

Then you should know that Pitocin DOES cause side effects such as nausea and vomiting.
So don't say that Pitocin "doesn't cause you to throw up".
Before any regular contractions started (and way way before my epi), I started hurling. It was due to the Pitocin drip they had me on.

Anyway, good luck to you, Baby Kalani!!! Our due dates are quite close together :D
Are you all ready for your little one to get here? I mentally am, but our house is a mess due to my husband frantically trying to get the kids rooms painted! I'm a little freaked out about the short amount of time left to finish things lol

LOL at you telling a L&D nurse to look up side effects of pit. Also you may want to look up side effects of labor - it includes nausea and vomiting. you really are stupid, cuz only pit could have caused someone to throw up, certainly not labor... no never... that only causes rainbows and sunshine to shoot out

I'm used to hearing that I know nothing about pregnancy labor and birth, since the internet doesn't match what I say. I mean they can't put anything on the internet that isn't true... wonder if her SO is a french model?
