My cycle are so messed up, I have a period every two weeks and it lasts about 3-4 days each time. This is getting frustrating. My OBGYN says it is my hormones, obviously, but has not offered to run any tests. She said just to go to an RE. I have been to one in the past, but I am ont trying for a baby, I just want a normal cycle. My regular Endocrinologist doesn't really deal with this either!Has anyone had any experience with this? What did you do? This is getting so annoying!

I've had two period a month for about 4 years. And ya know my doctor basically checked for cysts, and another thing but I can't remember. I have cysts, that make me have 2-3 periods a month! He put me on birth control, which made me react terribly. I started getting blood clots and losing so much blood I felt weak and could barely get out of bed. I got off of it after a few months and my period all of a sudden got on track. I wish I could offer more help but I was basically in the same situation. My doctor never really gave me answers.:(

Oh my, that sounds terrible. They only thing they said is I might have a Fibroid but that is it. I guess I am just going to have to deal as I am not going on birth control. So out of the blue it was back on track?! I'm approaching about a year:(

I am actually seeing two in the practice as one is retiring. She has always been great but I am at a loss of what to do now. I can't seem to get any help from any doctor. It would be one thing if it were just spotting but it's a full period:/

Yeah, well after I got off of the BC it was pretty bad, I think I had my period almost the whole month. But then the next month it came only once and it continued like that. It's almost been 6 months since and I'm really hoping it stays like this. I doubt it was the BC though. BC is the devil.

Yes, it is! Well I am glad it became normal for you, maybe it will fix itself?
