I've had some pretty lax jobs but really...I don't think being a SAHM is hard. I think when people say that, they are looking at the mental aspect. Being a stay at home parent for many years can mess with your mental, in most cases. But the actual work? Cleaning the house, doing chores, caring for the children/pets. Not hard.

Do you have psychological issues? If that's too personal of a question, just say green. It's just from my research I have put together a pattern that women who find being a housewife as "stressful" usually suffer from depression, bipolar, etc

Work isn't getting away. IMO.

But, I understand what you mean, in theory. Being at home with your kids is stressful, absolutely. But being at work isn't less stressful, just a different kind of stress and, sometimes, people that are even more of a pain in the ass than your kids.

You don't live with this kid. Raising my three siblings was easier than he is.

You don't have to be that way. It sounds like you're burnt out. Girl, get out of the house and get some fresh air with your LO.

What's the problem? I know boys can be a handful & mine drives me sort of crazy from time to time.

I don't have a job, but I'm looking. I've been a SAHM for two years, but we need the money, so it's back to work for me.

Ug I dislike it when these posts turn into SAHM isn't hard, being a working mom is harder. Being a SAHM is too hard, and so forth. It really shouldn't be a SAHM versus WAHM kind of thing not really. I mean technically I do both. They both have their negatives and positives.

I do. I leave every day for an hour or until LO gets tired out. We have a little play scape in our complex and he likes playing on it and I like going with him.
