This just irritated me and the comments alone. UGHHH... Why must they assassinate this mans character even after he refused the reward money. SMH

MAY 8--The Cleveland man credited with helping free female captives from a house of horrors is a convicted felon whose rap sheet includes three separate domestic violence convictions that resulted in prison terms, court records show.
Charles Ramsey, whose 911 call and subsequent TV interviews have made him a microcelebrity, was once a repeat spousal abuser whose marriage ended in divorce following a charlesramseymug.jpg2003 felony conviction for battering his wife.
Ramsey, 43, has said that when he heard captive Amanda Berry screaming and trying to escape from neighbor Ariel Castro

Who's gives a shit on what he did in the past! The only thing that should matter is he is a hero for saving those girls. Should he get reward money for it yes he should. He did a good deed and it should get shown that even the 'worst' people do have some good in them!

He declined the reward money. It was a reward for each girls safe return. He said give it to the victims. He works he didnt need it.

 This irritates me. The media will do anything for attention nowadays. What he did is in the past and he served his time for it. I'm not saying what he did in the past was right, but there's no need to bring up old irrelevant information. Just let him have his fame and Big Mac for heavens sake LOL

Well that's an even better man! IDK why they think that everything has to come out from the closet when someone does something good. Why can't everyone just focus on the good thing he did and leave it at that.

That's terrible that they have to bring up his past like that! He may have been a batterer in the past but that doesn't cancel out the fact that he heroically SAVED those three women's lives!!! God, nobody's freaking perfect and the fact that he bothered to save them after hearing their distressed cries PROVES he's got a good heart now. He could have just sat back and ignored the cries he heard but he did the right thing and the stupid media is trying to paint him as this terrible person based on the past.
