That's where we differ i suppose. Good people go to heaven. Whether they believe in God or something else they were taught. If they strive to make the world a better place, they won't be punished by eternal hell.

See I have not stufied that far ( also can be a matter of how I grew up... In a family with strong beliefs in mission work) but I too also have a feeling ( no biblical standing to my knowledge) that he would give those some slack.

Why would Christ die then? I mean, if it is true...why waste God's sons death? (genuine question not being rude!)

God, being God, would have to be perfect. Perfection cannot have imperfection, or it is no longer perfect. No human is perfect, therefore we all fall short of perfection and to be around God, would make Him imperfect. So, He sent His son, who was the only sinless man to die in our place. Those who choose to accept this free gift of His death in our place are made clean, or perfect. :)

I think that there is no way I could presume to know what the universe, God whatever wants me to do, so I think the most important thing is to be the kindest, most compassionate, and best version of myself I can be, and to stay humble and grateful... And hope for the best. I believe so many contradictory things that's all I can really do

I have a hard time believing that those who have not heard of God ( and therefore have no chance to deny him) will go to hell. But in Christianity the belief is that if you deny God you go to hell no matter what.

Or it could we are judged by how we loved and that the judgement does not come from God but rather us judging ourselves. I think God looks only in our hearts and not our heads.

It really depends on what religion you follow and what God you are talking about.
