She just said this:

lve dropped everything l had to be his wife l want so much to believe that this marriage can work because l love him..l left my home and lost my benefits so that l could be here, only to have to be left myself extremely sick now and without a partner or help or love and he never had to give up much or try harder but lets me be a burden to the state again..l will be more empty handed than when l came. l may die without a safety net now no medical care..l don't think l can physically handle either divorce and l don't thrive living alone

I don't know what else to say. I told her I'd help her find ways out, but she really has to want to do it and make steps towards it... Even giving her the information I've gathered in this thread, that's the way she talks... She just finds it impossible to picture leaving the marriage.

In order to help an abuse victim, you need to think like one. You can't apply unabused logic to her way of thinking.
