Gavin and Evan will be 4 next month and I'm planning out their party. They have decided they want a sports theme. What kind of foods should we serve at the party? I kinda want something to go with the theme. So far for the kids party favors I'm going to get them Gatorade and I found individually wrapped sports cookies at our local grocery store to hand out.

Hamburgers and Hot dogs! My son wants a baseball party so Im going to make him a cake that is shaped as a glove and baseball cupcakes! Maybe get/make some baseball/basketball/football/soccer cupcakes??

Also, Im not sure if you have a Dollar Tree in your area. But our dollar tree has a TON of sports themed decorations!

Hamburgers and hot dogs sound like a good idea and I thought about setting the food up and making a sign that says "concession stand" lol I saw that idea when I searching on pinterest. Dollar Tree is where I got most of their stuff from so far I found plates, cups, napkins, cupcake liners, cupcake stand, birthday banner all to match. I found 3D baseball, basketball, football, and soccer ball cupcake picks online a while ago so I think I'm going to use those for the cupcakes.

Make sure that you get those big orange Gatorade cooler dispensers like on the sidelines. Serve your food out of a big ice chest like a tailgate party. Have your guests show up in their favorite teams colors and have a bunch of the guys wear the body paint and fright wigs like they wear in the stands. These sound outlandish, but they oughta keep it fun.
