My son isn't but the pedi told us not to pull back at all. That it will cause infection..

You can gently tug it back, but I wouldn't pull it.

It should already be healed OP so I don't see a problem with pulling it down to clean it. My LO's shrinks up so every change I have to pull it down and out to get under the head to clean it. He's 6 months old and still having to do it.

<blockquote><b>Quoting OneLoveMama:</b>" did you hear your baby crying while the doctors were preforming this completely unnecessary cosmetic procedure on your newborn?"</blockquote>

Why would you even post this? It's not helpful and it's totally f**king rude.

Quoting Big D!:" It's a veryyy common occurrance with circumcisions. If you google you can see how they look. If it is ... [snip!] ... So keep it lubed with Vaseline. If you do notice that it has adhered at all, take him to the pedi and they will detach it."

well, thank you. i appreciate the actual help and info instead of criticism.

my son Jaxon will be 4 months old on the 21st and his circumcision was not done properly leaving to much skin..I did ALOT of research and groups of mothers in the same boat and found out I needed to take him to a urologist pediatric. they deal with that and urune kidney stones ect, jax is going back at 4 months which is soon and is going to have a procedure preformed to correct his circumsicion, the skin hangs over his pee bug and already adhered once leaving them taring the skin, it hurt him so bad bc they just did it, if I'd had known they were going to do that I woukldnt had of allowed it w/o some type of local numbing cream or something, but basically, they wont grow into it so don't listen to that, get it corrected young bc it only takes 3 days to heal and is much sanitary, I was told by a 18 yr old that wasn't circumsized that no matter how much he washed there was an oder of some kind and he didn't get the circumcision bc of his parents religion, but he had it done as an adult bc it was much cleaner....the procedure takes 15-20 mins top 3 day healing process to correct circumcision...
