for our friend's recent wedding, we got 100 of the golden dollar coins and put them in a treasure chest. lol.

photo frames for their wedding day pictures. a wedding photo album, a pretty vase or center piece fruit bowl, anything crystal, gift certificates, get creative.

People just want money. To help pay for the wedding.

Look at their registry or give them money.

When I got married, I did a registry, and EVERYONE gave me money, I think I got one actual gift.

I was pretty darn happy, no complaints at all.

Give her money and something funny from the past you know he loves. My best frien gave me money and our favorite candy from childhood.

we were roomies in college, that's how we met. and one time we got in an argument over where to put our pots and pans, and she had a really stupid place to put them and i had a very practical place bc i cook more. and finally, one of us was like, 'are we really fighting over this?' lol so i was gonna give her the money and write in the card, 'i would have gotten you pots and pans, but you would have just put them in an impractical location..." lol
