Would you go floating the river at nine months pregnant?

The girl carrying the child my mother is adopting, is planning on doing just that.
She thinks its no big deal, but I've hit rocks really hard, and fell down the hill going down to the river.

My mom and I are telling her it's not a good idea, but she doesn't seem to care. :/

Floating? I mean something could happen. But why tell her not to? She's a big girl

She's nineteen, and she just really isn't seeing the big picture.
My moms pissed because she's already so excited about the baby.

She also smokes, and probably drinks.
There's no talking sense into her!

I wouldn't. But it's her body and she probably doesn't care too much apparently. Or she's that dumb. Maybe tell her to ask her OB about it.

And this is probably why she is giving her kid up for adoption.

When I think of floating I think of a lazy river. If that's the case, I don't see the issue. But if its rough, then no.

It's not super rough, but some friends and myself have gotten hurt before.

Why don't you guys plan something more fun for her to do?

Call her and be like "we were trying to surprise you but we actually planned this big __________________ for you this weekend to show you how grateful we are. Please please come."

That's a good idea, we could try!
