My DD has her first loose tooth ( :'( just another reminder she is getting bigger, but thankfully she said "even though I am a big girl and will be getting an adult tooth soon, don't worry, I will always be your baby"). She is excited for the tooth fairy to come. How much did the tooth fairy leave for you kid's first tooth?

First tooth, $20...every tooth there after, $5 [or whatever the 'tooth fairy' has in his/her wallet...lol]! Spray it with hairspray and sprinkle glitter!!!

Every new big milestone she hits she makes sure to say she will always be my baby. It melts my heart.

Cute idea but do they take a sprikled bill when she wants to buy something? Do you spray little bit all over?

the most money i've ever got for a tooth was $2 .. and that was because my parents didnt have the loonie. I'd say a buck or two because whats a child going to do with a 20? by a lot of candy and get a cavity

Quoting Kayla [:)]♥:" Teach your kids to be smart with money, and they'll become smart with money. My son has a piggy bank full of loonies and toonies, and he has absolutely zero interest to spend it on junk food."

I rarely let DD buy candy, and when we do it comes from our money not hers! we save her money for fun stuff :) but we also put some away for collage for both the kids.
