I need an inexpensive blender. Needed to make protein shakes-using nuts, berries, leafy greens etc..
Any suggestions?????

What is your idea of cheap? Like a $100?

My mom got a 50 dollar walmart blender and it blends all of that. It is actually at my house because I borrowed it, I use it for smoothies a lot.

I have an Osterizer 10 speed blender. I think I paid like.. $30 for it? It wasn't expensive at all. Works great :)

My husband got me an Oster for $35 and works amazing for smoothies. I put wheat grass and kale in mine, comes out well blended! I had planned on getting a kitchen aid but this does the trick :)

I have a cheap $30 blender from the PX that works great. I blend ice and frozen fruit In There all the time with no issues. I've had it a few years now.

This is almost exactly the same one I have but I have the 10 speed, I think

ETA and I love it, use it to make smoothies all the time.

I always figured those were not worth the hype! Can they blend smoothies well?

That's what i do with mine. Make smoothies. Beats spending 3/4 dollars on one at the store.

I agree. I think they have more fruit flavor.

I use yogurt, frozen fruit, Banana's and OJ.
