I leave tomorrow for Florida and I am taking my 11 month old. I know I can take her formula with me through security. My question is, can I have her botle filled with 8 ounces of water before the checkpoint or do I have to do that after I go through security.

When I flew with DD (who was 15 months at the time), they let us take water through security. They do have to open it and test it, though.

Thank you. I don't mind if they test it I just dont want to have to buy bottled water to fill her bottle with if I don't have to.

You can whatever you need for the baby (water, juice, formula, ect) Any liquids over 3oz will be tested. Just put them all in their own bin a TSA person will take the bin as it comes out of the xray and walk you over to the testing area.

No prob! :D I don't blame you for not wanting to pay extra to buy it at the airport. Both times I flew with DD, security was easy-going and very helpful.
