How did you lose the baby weight? Amanda.W.P 2 kids; Fort Pierce, Florida 1115 posts

I know it's too soon to be thinking about this but DH asked me what I wanted for my birthday last night (its in July) and I told him I wanted stuff to lose the weight from DS and DD. He told me to think up specific stuff for that and I was thinking asking for the Insanity DVDs and some yoga stuff with some ankle and wrist weights for when I go walking. I just want some more ideas before I ask for that. Like maybe something that will work better. I don't care how fast it takes it off as long as its safe to me and to DD while breastfeeding and it works I want to know about it. Thanks in advance.

TBH, I tried many at home workouts and could never stick to any. I ended up getting a Gym membership for $20/month which includes Childcare and Personal Trainer once a week. It's been great.

Cool. I'm good at sticking to things if I really want them. I won't feel comfortable in a gym until I lose most of the weight. But thanks for the advice :)

I just stopped eating like a cow. LOL. Then I started eating like a cow again, and now I'm back to square one. It's a vicious cycle.

I joined a gym. It was nice to get out of the house and it motivated me more than doing at home. I stuck to a pretty good diet, I'm a healthy eater in general so it wasn't really a change. I also got a jogger so I could walk everyday.

I got the insanity dvd. Bloody hell it killed me, I'm so unfit. I couldn't even finish the fitness test  I used to have abs and muscles and shit and now I'm a big unfit blob. I think insanity will be good once i get my level up but you really have to be motivated because it is easy to give up when you do it at home.

I'm no help lol. Honestly i do not exercise or diet and i have lost all baby weight plus more. When i got pregnant with ds i was 129. Lost down to 119 after i had him (had gotten up to 192 by the end of my pregnancy). Then when i got pregnant with dd i started at 136 (got up to 202) and now I'm down to 122 :-) maybe you'll get that lucky. Plus if you're breastfeeding that'll help. I don't breastfeed but i know they say it helps

Until recently, I have gone since my daughters birth at 135lbs... that's almost 1 1/2 years. I actually kept PP bleeding every time I exercised, so I did nothing...Now that it's summer I'm 100x more active, and I am all healed. I've walked an hour into town (and an hour back!) plus time in town about 6 times now in 2 weeks, I run, I do crunches, I do push ups, and I am learning to balance on my hands with my exercise ball. Just the basics, I suppose, to starting out.

I am so motivated. I only have 3 months left until DD comes out then I have six weeks after (hopefully) I'm already excited :)
