ER worthy? Tikaytasha 17 kids; New York 11503 posts

I know y'all aren't doctors but I want some opinions.

This is the third day in a row I've had horrid stomach pain. It literally feels like someone repeatedly punched me in the stomach. I'm hot, nauseous, weak and whenever I eat no matter what it is, the pain seriously intensifies. Even making a bowel movement hasn't helped, nor has taking tums.

Any ideas what it could be and if I should bother going to the ER?

Where does it hurt? Like, specifically in your abdominal area, where is the pain, I mean.

I've tried to pinpoint an actual spot but I can't. It just feels like it's allll over

All over wouldn't concern me, I'd just think it was a virus. If it was in one spot, I'd say go to the ER. But, regardless, for sure see the doctor on Monday. Or, is there a Doc in the Box you could go to? Like an urgent care?

Eating seems to bring it on

That would make me think it was acid reflux!

Maalox, kinda. But your best bet is something like Prevacid, but it won't alleviate the symptoms immediately... it's a neutralizer so it will take a few days. The doctor can prescribe you Nexium which works really well.

I'd go to urgent care in the morning.

This happened to me when I had a kidney infection, but it could be a virus or galbladder attack too. I would go to urgent care in the AM. If it gets worse, I would go to the ER.
