Quoting Draco'sStalker:" we live in a 3 bedroom 2 bath house with MIL. Monster has her bed in our room, that's it. i refused to ... [snip!] ... at least i am). ideally, she needs to be in her room but if we have to, i'll gladly put one in our bed and one in the playard."

I have co-slept with my daughter since the day she was born 5 years ago, and now that we're expecting another baby girl I bought my daughter a loft bed that we put over the Full we had so she can sleep above me and the baby.

We cosleep and have since dd came home from the hospital. We just bought a house. The nursery is like a Noah's ark mural. We're not terribly religious but it's super cool! The previous owners got their artist friend to come in and paint what he thought would be gender neutral. It also has the sea and fish on the other side. I love it and can't wait to move dd into it.

That does sounds pretty cool, how old is your DD, when will they transition into there own room. Maybe it can just be a playroom and you all can still co-sleep :D

Dd is 14 months. So I wasn't goin to bother transitioning till we get pregnant again lol. I love having her in bed with us. Makes me so much more calm! I figured even if we never use the nursery I'll set the crib we've never even taken out of the box up in it. That way when family comes to visit that disapproves of our sleeping arrangements I can claim we use it lol. It's the smallest of our 4 rooms so we might actually turn it into a office. A Noah's ark office.

My daughters room is decorated with bright decor and butterfly wall decals and all the furniture and the walls are white (The door and window trim are painted bright though) and I hung a shoe organizer (Like this http://www.target.com/p/threshold-10-shelf-quilted-shoe-organizer/-/A-14104435#?lnk=sc_qi_detaillink ) In the closet between their clothes, so I can also put small items in the organizer. Then the dresser top two drawers are for baby items and the bottom three are for my daughters clothes. I also have cube shelves that I'm going to stack so my older kids toys (Smaller bits) can be up high and baby toys down low.

Thank you for breaking it down for me, that gives me a better picture of how to share and separate spaces when adding a new baby and room sharing. :)
