When DS was that age, I turned my back for a few seconds and he managed to climb onto the couch, up the back of it and onto the windowsill.
We had to move the couch as he wouldn't stop doing it!

my 8 month old is like that as well. he climbs on everything and gets into everything. I just have a close on eye on him constantly

We hardly sit down during the day lol! It's a constant battle to keep him out of crap!
