I have used it, it works but its more of a temporary fix. Start with it and get the refrigerated acidophilus capsules. It's kinda a battle for me with this and my ph levels sometimes.

I feel your pain, sometimes a sitz bath with apple cider vinegar helps too. I have had it 4 times total. I hate it

I was completely traumatized the first time. My gyno was great about it to me because I thought at first I had an STD.
How did you get rid of it the first time?

a prescription and it was 3 years ago. now i have to wait for open enrollment through my husband's job to be fully covered and I refuse to go to Planned Parenthood but I need to find a clinic or something.

Do you have food allergies that you are aware of? That can be a trigger. Also avoid sugar like in beverages, treats, candy, etc. that can throw off ph levels too according to my gyno.

I have not tried them but I feel the same way you guys do about having BV. I had never had it until last year with my first pregnancy, and since then its like I keep it. My vag is just a mess now it seems.. I didn't know sugar could trigger BV so I will try cutting it out and see what happens. I have been on Flagyl (sp?) multiple times for it and it just continues to return. I feel so gross, especially after sex because I smell like a fish market :(.

:( I am really sorry it affects you that way. It is hard to deal with, and it is something that doesn't seem like a big deal until you get stuck constantly dealing with it. I refuse to have oral with my husband now because even after I wash I feel like it is still gross down there.
