you dont have to make it 'clearer' lol...I understand the question, I dont understand the relevance in asking it.

If it really matters to you though, no I dont think porn or prostitution should be illegal, its a job and taxes should be paid.

I dont see how you dont see prostitution and porn as the same, they are both people getting paid for sex.

"I'm sorry, but to me the distinction between prostitutes and porn stars is pretty obvious: Prostitution is a person being paid directly to have sex with another person. Pornography is people making a video that includes sex acts, and everyone involved makes money from it. "- My first post in the thread.
That's how I see it. I see the point being made in comparing in them, I disagree and am making my point.
To me it was relevant because the discussion concerned the differences and similarities of prostitution and pornography.

not to mention prostitutes do it for the money and drugs or cause they are pimped out. the majority of them are forced or they do it for the drugs. porn stars do it cause they like it, and they made a career out of it! alot of them have college degrees and shit. they are NOT comparable to prostitutes who wh**e themselves out for money on the street, having sex with randoms aaaaalll day.

but there are prostitutes who've got degrees, and who dont go to to the street and have randoms all day, but have regulars they meet at hotels/house etc.

Um well with how many kids have tablets/laptops/phones these days, I'm sure Sophia will find out long before Farrah "plans" to tell her. And to the poster on the first page that thinks it's "great" that she's gonna tell her and nobody will find out or whatever, um half of the world has seen Farrah take it up the ass in one of the worst made pornos ever. Sophia is going to deal with the reprecussions of her mom's stupid decision.

So, is the man that was in the porno with her a wh**e, too?

What about homemade porn that ends up online, are those people wh**es?

If a porno is of one woman, masturbating alone, is she still a wh**e, even though she was not having sex with another person?

If there's no actual physical, sexual contact, are the actors still wh**es?

There are videos where it's just a woman giving instructions to a guy about how to j**k o*f, she's fully dressed- is she a wh**e?

Seriously, where does the "wh**e" distinction end?? :?

Prostitution is the business or practice of providing sexual services to another person in return for payment.[1] The person who receives payment for sexual services is called a prostitute or sex worker, and the person who receives such services is known by a multitude of terms. Prostitution is one of the branches of the sex industry. The legal status of prostitution varies from country to country, from being permissible but unregulated, to a punishable crime or to a regulated profession. Estimates place the annual revenue generated from the global prostitution industry to be over $100 billion.[2] Prostitution is sometimes referred to as "the world's oldest profession".[3]
Prostitution occurs in a variety of forms. Brothels are establishments specifically dedicated to prostitution. In escort prostitution, the act may take place at the customer's residence or hotel room (referred to as out-call), or at the escort's residence or in a hotel room rented for the occasion by the escort (called in-call). Another form is street prostitution. Sex tourism refers to travelling, typically from developed to underdeveloped nations, to engage in sexual activity with prostitutes.

You stop being a wh**e when you stop doing sexual acts for money....

Goes for men, too.

No, I'm not "in the business". But I don't see anything wrong with it. I'd do fetish porn if I had the body.

I get worked up over the word "wh**e" because it gets thrown around so much- anything remotely sexual that another person doesn't approve of earns a woman the title of 'wh**e' or a 'slut'. (I'm not saying that anyone of you have said this, I'm speaking in general, esp in America) It's blatant slut-shaming, and it make me sick.

I just don't understand the insistence on verbally degrading others because they don't see things the way that you do and make different choices than you would. I'm out of this discussion because it's giving me a headache.
